MINNEOLA - Bart Andrew Denison passed away on Monday, February 1, 2021 at Minneola District Hospital.

Bart was born in Wichita, Kansas on May 9,1962 to Charles "Andy" and Erma Lee (Davis) Denison. He was the youngest of 5 boys. He graduated from Minneola High School and attended Votech in Beloit, Kansas. He worked oil field and construction for most of his life. He loved fishing, camping, and Harleys.

On December 31, 1983 he married Tammy Jean (Arnold) of Jetmore, Kansas. They had four children, Tosha, Andrew (Buck), Amber Lee and Nicholas (Nick.) Tammy and Bart later divorced but remained very close friends.

Later, Bart met and married Heidi (McMillan,) they had a son Herschel. Bart also gained 3 daughters with this marriage, Anjul, Samantha and Rachel. He always loved the girls as his own. Heidi and Bart later divorced.

Bart had four brothers, Jim "WR," Chuck, Bob, and Tom. The brothers grew up close and were together quite often. Tom and Bart remained nearly inseparable their entire lives, it would be rare to see one without the other. Joel Burnett became Bart's fifth brother through the years and would often be with him and Tom.

He is survived by his brothers; Tom (Lisa), Bob, and Chuck all of Minneola. His sons; Nick (Lauren) of Wichita and Herschel of Kansas City.  His daughters; Tosha (Chris) of Great Bend and Amber (Dan) of Colorado Springs.  His stepdaughters; Anjul, Samantha and Rachel, as well as their families. His grandsons; Aden, Brayden, Zeth, Tobin, Landan, Carter and Jace. His granddaughters; Alexis and Cora. As well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He was proceeded in death by his son, Andrew "Buck" Denison, a brother Jim "WR" Denison, parents Charles "Andy" and Erma Lee Denison, as well as grandparents and several friends.

Services will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at 10:00 am at Crosswalk Christian Church in Minneola, Kansas with Brad Kefauver officiating. A memorial luncheon will follow at the Civic Center in Minneola. Family is requesting for guests to bring a side dish.
