BUCKLIN, KANSAS - Betty Jane Hamlin-Cuer, 82, passed away on Monday, January 11, 2021, in Minneola, Kansas.

She was born April 19, 1938 in Pampa, Texas to Leighton and Hazel (Neumann) Walker.  Betty led a fulfilling life as a wife, mother, and grandmother.  She retired after more than 50 years of working in broadcasting, social services, and real estate.  After travelling extensively and meeting new people around the world, she moved from Leavenworth, Kansas to Bucklin.  She was an avid reader, and enjoyed sharing her love with her family.

Survivors include:  husband, Jim Cuer of Bucklin; daughter, Vicki Hamlin of Leavenworth; son, Brandon Hamlin (Julie) of Overland Park, Kansas; 3 step-children, Linda Rahder, Ranchester, Wyoming, Kim Pelesky, Sheridan, Wyoming and Jeff Cuer, Bucklin; grandchildren, Bridget and Conner; niece, Linda Walker and nephew, Dwayne Walker.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Virgil Walker.

Cremation will take place and a private Celebration of Life will be held at a future date. There will be no public viewing.
