MULLINVILLE - Dale Liggett, 94, died Sunday, April 3, 2022 at the Hill Top House in Bucklin, Kansas.

He was born July 15, 1927 on the family farm north of Mullinville in Kiowa County, the son of Roy and Emma (South) Liggett.  He worked at the Mullinville grain elevator and retired as the caretaker for Hillcrest Cemetery in Mullinville.  He was a veteran of the Korean War and always had many colorful stories regarding his experiences in the military.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Wayne Liggett, Clarence Liggett, Velma Jantz, Delbert Liggett, and Don Liggett.

Survivors include six nieces and nephews.

Graveside services with military honors will be at 10:30 am Saturday, April 9, 2022 at Hillcrest Cemetery, Mullinville, with Jeffrey D. Blackburn officiating and full military honors by Military Honors for the State of Kansas and American Legion District 8.  There will be no public viewing.

The family suggests memorials to the Hill Top House in care of Minnis Mortuary, 1901 N, 14 ^th Avenue, Dodge City, Kansas 67801.
