BUCKLIN- Danny Fenton, 78, died Monday, January 1, 2024 at home surrounded by his family.

He was born August 3, 1945 in Bristow, Oklahoma, the son of Russell and Naomi (Stafford) Fenton.  He has been a resident of Bucklin for over 70 years.   Danny was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, known for his adventurous spirit and love for the outdoors.

On May 15, 1965 he married Beverly Davis in Bucklin, Kansas.

Danny had fulfilling careers as a Custom Harvester and a Combine Specialist for John Deere.

Danny had a passion for deer hunting, fishing, and traveling on his motorcycle. He found solace and joy in nature and cherished the moments spent in the mountains.

Survivors include his wife, Beverly; his children, Blayne Fenton, Liberty, Missouri and Lauren Raymond [Kristopher Raymond], Gulf Shores, Alabama; Grandchildren, Madisen Raymond and Jaden Raymond; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Naomi,  his brother Loren Fenton and his sister Carolyn Johnson.

A memorial service to celebrate Danny's life will be scheduled at a later date. During this time of grief, may his family and friends find comfort in their cherished memories of Danny's vibrant spirit and the love he shared with those around him.  There will be no public viewing as cremation has taken place.
