BUCKLIN - Donna J. Lewallen, 52, died Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, Wichita, Kansas.

She was born December 2, 1963 at Minneola, the daughter of Keith and Patsy (Besson) Austin. A lifetime Bucklin resident, graduating from Bucklin High School in 1982 and obtained her Associated Degree from Dodge City Community College. She worked for Bucklin Public Schools as the computer coordinator.

On September 25, 1982 she married Jay Lee Lewallen in Bucklin. He survives.

Survivors also include: son, Jade Lewellen, Hays; daughter, Lida Howard and husband Mitchell, Hays; mother, Patsy Austin, Bucklin; brother, Brian Austin and wife Jackie, Medicine Lodge; sister, Kelly Bettles and husband Clint, Hillsboro.

She was preceded in death by her father Keith.

A celebration of life will be 2:00 pm Monday, January 11, 2016 at the First Christian Church, Bucklin, with Scott Tilley, Stephen Hokanson and Robert Scott officiating. There will be no public viewing, cremation has taken place. A private family inurnment will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery at a later date.
