FORD - Earl Shearon, 74, died Thursday, October 12, 2017 at his home in Ford.

He was born January 6, 1943 in Dodge City, the son of Bill and Mildred (Ratzlaff) Shearon. A longtime Ford County resident, he was a truck driver.

On October 19, 1963 he married Betty Stout at Dodge City. She survives.

Other survivors include: 2 daughters, Patricia Kerr and husband Larry of Goddard and Tonya Lowery and husband Brian of Borger, Texas; a sister, Mary Lou Goucher of Galva, Kansas; 6 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral service will be 11:00 am Monday, October 16, 2017 at the Ford Community Church with Pastor Sean Schraeder officiating. Interment will follow in the Ford Cemetery.
