MULLINVILLE - Edna Fern Brensing Fromme, 99, died January 22, 2016. Fern was a lifelong resident of Mullinville and Bucklin, Kansas. She was born on May 20, 1916, daughter of Henry George and Mary Georgia Miller Brensing, in rural Mullinville, Kansas.
On May 20, 1945 she married Henry William Fromme, son of Edward Henry and Helen Campbell Fromme, rural Mullinville. They had 3 children, Edward, Mary, and Tamina.
Fern was a retired Home Economics teacher, farmer's wife and active member of both communities.
She is preceded in death by her husband Henry, daughter Mary, son Edward, her parents, and 4 brothers: Arthur, Warren, Wayne and Eugene.
Survivors are daughter, Tamina Fromme, Mullinville; 3 grandchildren and their spouses and 7 great grandchildren.
Suggested memorials in lieu of flowers are your choice of church, library, or Round Barn Fund in care of Minnis Mortuary, Box 516, Bucklin KS 67834.
Visitation at Minnis Mortuary from 2 – 4:00 pm Sunday.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, January 25, 2016 at 2:00 PM at the Mullinville Church of Christ with burial at Hillcrest Cemetery, Mullinville, KS.
