MINNEOLA - Gary "Frank" Kofford, 73, died Thursday, December 12, 2019 at his home in Minneola.

He was born August 26, 1946 at Dodge City, the son of Leo and June (Simmons) Kofford.  He was a lifetime area resident and was an equipment operator for the Clark County Highway Department, retiring September 13, 2010.  He loved running equipment and fishing.

On July 4, 1969 he married Gayla Kay Weddle at Minneola.  She preceded him in death on June 25, 2016.

Survivors include: 2 sons, Steven, Minneola and Bryan, Goodland; 2 brothers, Jerry Kofford and wife Mary Ann, Tyler Town, Mississippi and Dale Kofford, Dodge City; and a sister, Sue Kofford, Bloom.

He was also preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Linda Kofford and a brother, Steven Kofford.

Graveside services will be at 10:00 am Thursday, December 19, 2019 at the Appleton Township Cemetery, south of Minneola, with Brad Kefauver officiating.  There will be no public viewing cremation, has taken place.
