BUCKLIN – Jim Lewis, 63, died Sunday, May 13, 2018 at Western Plains Medical Complex, Dodge City, Kansas.

He was born June 30, 1954 in Salisbury, North Carolina, the son of James Robert Sr. and Sara Josephine (Lingle) Lewis.  He was a longtime area resident. He worked for Bradford Trucking and was a handyman.

Survivors include: his father, Bucklin; his companion, Lisa Sittingdown, Bucklin; 2 daughters, Sara Jean Hoffman, Dallas, Oregon and Jamie Lee Lewis, Austin, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

Memorial services will be held 11:00 am Thursday May, 17, 2018 at the Bucklin United Methodist Church with Scott Tilley officiating. There will be no public visitation cremation has taken place.
