BUCKLIN – Joan B. Immell, 89, died Monday, July 24, 2023 at Hill Top House in Bucklin.

She was born December 16, 1933 at Bucklin, the daughter of Roy Martindale and Ruth (McQuerrey) Ross.  She was a graduate of Bucklin High School and a lifetime resident.  She worked for Farmers State Bank in Bucklin for 30 years, retiring in February of 2002 as a vice president as well as serving on the board of directors.

She was a member of the Bucklin Bible Fellowship Church and United Methodist Women.

On January 22, 1956 she married John Immell at Bucklin.  He preceded her in death on February 20, 2016.

Survivors include: 2 sons, Greg Immell and wife Moni, Mullinville and Doug Immell and wife Pam Kessler, Waverly, Ohio; 2 brothers, Stan Ross, League City, Texas and Richard Ross, Lincoln, Nebraska; 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, her step-mother, Letha Ross, a brother, Robert Ross and 2 sisters, Ruth Peaster and Patricia Tilton.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 am Monday, July 31, 2023 at the Bucklin Bible Fellowship Church (formerly Bucklin United Methodist Church) with Pastor Suzie Woods officiating.  Burial will follow in the Bucklin Cemetery.  Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm Sunday at Minnis Mortuary, Bucklin.
