MINNEOLA – Leona K. Perry, 75, died Saturday, January 16, 2016 at Harry Hynes Hospice, Wichita.

She was born November 29, 1940 at Holden, Missouri, the daughter of Marvin and Eula (Donald) Myers. A longtime Minneola resident, she was a homemaker.

On June 14, 1959 she married Jimmie Joseph Perry at Bloom. He preceded her in death on June 13, 2014.

Survivors include: her son, Joe Perry and wife Jennifer, Arkansas City; 2 brothers, Donald Myers, Sagina, Texas and Junior Hibbs, Wagoner, Oklahoma; 4 sisters, her twin, Leota Pritchard, Bloom, Shirley Heffner, Arkansas City, Deloris Cleary, Arkansas City and Doris Haskell, Bloom; 4 grandchildren, Chastity Terrazas and husband Carlos, Cimarron, Joseph Perry, Jr. and wife Lacey, Bloom, James Perry and wife Ashley and Cody Perry and wife Kara all of Arkansas City.

She was also preceded in death by a brother, Theron Myers; a sister, Dorothy "Dot" Wilson, a daughter, April Perry and a granddaughter, Jennifer Hoover.

Funeral will be 2:00 pm Thursday, January 21, 2016 at the Minneola United Methodist Church with Pastor Kip Ryherd officiating. Burial will follow in the Bloom Cemetery. Family will receive from 5:00 to 7:00 pm Wednesday at Minnis Mortuary, Minneola.
