FORD, KANSAS - Mary Renee Droste, age 59, passed away Monday, June 13, 2022 at her home near Cimarron.

She was born to Marion and Betty (Paxson) Stout on July 12, 1962 in Cheyenne Wells, Colorado. She graduated from Mullinville High School and was a longtime area resident. On June 16, 1990, she married Rick Droste in Dodge City. Mary stayed at home and raised her four daughters. She also enjoyed gardening, growing flowers, and spending time with family. She was a member of Cross Connection Church in Dodge City.

Survivors include: her husband of 31 years, Rick Droste; their four daughters- Kayla Droste, Alaska, Janae Stemen, Nebraska, Rachel Droste, Kansas, and Chambre Blondo, Nebraska; five grandchildren- Isabell Droste, Ethan Droste, Lucas Blondo, Owen Blondo, and Aniyah Stemen; 6 siblings- Gerald Stout, Texas, Mike Stout, Colorado, Debra Brown, Kansas, Les Stout, Kansas, Joe Stout, Kansas, and Wendy Demoret, Nebraska.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

The funeral service will be at 2:00 pm Friday, June 17, 2022 at Cross Connection Church in Dodge City. Pastor Josh Smith will be officiating. Burial will follow at the Ford Cemetery. Visitation with the family present will be Thursday from 5:00 pm -7:00 pm at Minnis Mortuary in Bucklin.
