FORD, KANSAS – Norma M. Stout, 89, died Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at Medicalodge of Kinsley.

She was born September 17, 1935 in Ford County, Kansas, the daughter of Joseph and Mary E. (Dowling) Stout.  She was a lifetime area resident and a graduate of Ford High School.  She married Russell D. Carrier and he preceded her in death on December 15, 1983.  She was a homemaker previously working as a truck driver and security guard.

Survivors include: 2 daughters, Pamela Anderson, Perham, Minnesota and Cindy Carrier-Plumlee, LaMonte, Missouri; a son, Norman Carrier, Springfield, Missouri; several grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Melody Horn.

Graveside services will be at 2:00 pm Friday, October 11, 2024 at the Ford Cemetery, Ford, with Pastor Allen Smith officiating.  There will be no public visitation.
