BUCKLIN – Robert "Bob" Green, 73, died Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at the Minneola District Hospital, Minneola.

He was born April 18, 1949 at Greensburg, the son of Don and Louise (Copeland) Green.  He was a graduate of Bucklin High School and a lifetime Bucklin resident.  He served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.  He worked in the parts department at BTI in Bucklin until retiring after over 40 years there.

He was a member of American Legion Post 269 in Bucklin and the VFW.

In April 1973 he married Vuong Vu at Dodge City.

Survivors include: his wife of 49 years, Vuong; a son, J.T. Green, Lawrence, Kansas; 2 grandchildren, Justice Green and Kaylee Green; 7 brothers and sisters, Kenny Green and wife Janelle, Texas, Gary Green, Bucklin, Scheryl Lakin and husband Cliff, Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Debbie Pugh and husband Cliff, Wilroads, Mark Green and wife Sonya, Van, Texas, Sharon Fulton, Colorado Springs, Colorado and Norma Cecil and husband Tom, Raton, New Mexico.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Rocky, grandparents, Earl and Eunice Copeland and 3 sisters-in-law, Cindy Green, Vickie Green and Balinda Green.

Funeral service will be at 3:00 pm Saturday, June 18, 2022 at the Worship Center, Bucklin, with Scott Tilley officiating.  Burial will follow in the Bucklin Cemetery with military honors by American Legion Post 269 and the United States Navy.  Visitation with the family present will be Friday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Minnis Mortuary, Bucklin.
