BUCKLIN - Robert Olen Tilley "Papa" 91, died March 15, 2016 at Hill Top House, Bucklin KS. He was born July 12, 1924 to Robert E Lee Tilley and Edna Irene (Moss) Tilley in Ada, Oklahoma.

He married Betty B. Rundell on March 3, 1943 in Oklahoma City, OK.

He was a farmer/stockman and he served on Federal Land Bank committee, Bucklin School Board, and Hill Top House board.

He loved all sports and played when he was young and then on town team as an adult. He officiated basketball games for many years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He loved spending time with his family and especially grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Survivors include four sons: Kenneth and Deena of Johnson, Robert E., Tony and Judy, and Todd and Renae all of Bucklin; six sisters: Ione of Oregon, Winnie of Calif., Lela, Lou, Carlene and Kay of Ada, OK; 15 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

Preceding him in death includes wife, Betty "Nana", his parents, one brother Karl, sister LaVona, one grandchild, Adam McChain Tilley, and two great grandchildren, Wyatt Justice Tilley and Audra Lea Tilley.
Memorial Service will be 10:00 AM Saturday, March 19, 2016 at the Bucklin United Methodist Church with Scott Tilley officiating. Inurnment will follow at Bucklin Cemetery with Masonic Graveside Services. Family will greet friends from 5 – 7 pm Friday March 18 at Minnis Mortuary, Bucklin.
