MINNEOLA – Roger V. Morain, 83, died Sunday, March 4, 2018 at Via Christi- St. Francis, Wichita, Kansas.

He was born September 25, 1934 at Minneola, Kansas, the son of Vern and Bertha(McMahan) Morain.

Roger enjoyed playing golf and being with his wife, children and grandchildren.

He served in the United States Army.

On September 7, 1957 he married Donita Ullom at Minneola.

Survivors include: his wife Donita, Hutchinson, Kansas; son Kevin Morain, Wichita, Kansas; daughter, Cindy Johnson and husband Keenan, Overland Park, Kansas; brother, Robert Morain and wife Donna, Overland Park, Kansas; sister, Barbara Houser and husband Jim, Minneola; 3 grandchildren, Kiel Johnson and wife Amanda, Adrienne Oh and husband Steve, Corey Johnson; 2 great grandchildren, Kaylin Johnson and Markus Oh.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Graveside services will be held at the Appleton Township Cemetery on Thursday March 8, 2018 at 11:00 am. Visitation will also be Thursday from 10:00 am to 10:45 am at Minnis Mortuary.
