MINNEOLA - Sharon G. Fregon, 77, died Friday, August 18, 2017 at Minneola District Hospital.

She was born September 7, 1939 at Dodge City, the daughter of Paul and Lorene (Miller) Spradlin. She was a lifetime area resident and worked as an LPN and later Administrator of the Shepherd's Center in Cimarron.

She married John Frantz in April 10, 1959 and they had 2 sons. In 1984 she married Leo Roy Fregon at Cimarron. In 2002, due to her MS, she became a resident of Minneola Long Term Care where she remained until her death. Roy preceded her in death on September 28, 2005.

Survivors include: her children, Johnny Frantz, Roanoke, Alabama, Danny Frantz, Grove, Oklahoma, Mike Fregon and wife Georgia, Garden City, Mark Fregon, Seattle, Washington, Amy Jo Fregon, Dodge City and Rick Fregon and wife Diane, Cimarron; 1 brother, Joe Spradlin, Sr. and wife Rita, Lawrence, Kansas; a sister-in-law, Sharon Spradlin, Demorest, Georgia; grandchildren and step-grandchildren, along with great grandchildrenand step-great granchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents and a brother James Spradlin and a step-great grandson, Malicki Fregon.

Memorial graveside will be 3:00 pm Thursday, August 31, 2017 at the Cimarron Cemetery with David Johnson officiating. There will be no public viewing, cremation has taken place. There will be a gathering at the Gray County Fair Building for family and friends following the graveside.
