OVERLAND PARK, KANSAS - Sharon Kay Hicks, 76, of Overland Park, Kansas, passed away on December 19, 2022, at St. Luke's Hospice House surrounded by loved ones.

Sharon was born on July 23, 1946, in Dodge City, Kansas to Johnny and Juanita Felty of Minneola, KS. She was raised in Minneola, Kansas by her step father, Lloyd Church, and mother, Juanita.

She is survived by her three sons; Dave (Kelly) Hicks of Phoenix, AZ, Brian (Michelle) Hicks, of Cheney, KS, Corey (Christina) Hicks of Overland Park, KS; seven grandchildren, Sydney Hicks of Fort Worth, TX, Logan Irsik and Kaden Hicks of Phoenix, AZ, Courtney (Jordan) Heinze of Cheney, KS, Connor Hicks of Conway Springs, KS, Addison and Elizabeth Hicks of Overland Park, KS; four great grandchildren, Linkin and Leighton Irsik of Phoenix, AZ, Carter and Avery Heinze of Cheney, KS; sisters, Shirley Pinnick of Prairie Village, KS, and Irlene (Kelly) Davidson of Overland Park, KS; sister-in-law, Mary Felty of Hutchinson, KS; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Juanita and Lloyd Church; father, Johnny Felty; brother, Gary Felty. Sharon was known for her hard work and dedication to family. She will be missed by all those that loved and knew her.

Graveside Service will be on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at 1:00 pm at the Appleton Township Cemetery, Minneola with Pastor Suzie Woods officiating. There will be no public viewing as cremation has taken place.

The family suggests memorial donations be made to American Cancer Society or St. Luke's Hospice House 3516 Summit St, Kansas City, MO 64111 both in honor of Sharon Hicks.
