BUCKLIN – Vuong Green, 77, died Thursday, March 13, 2025 at her home in Bucklin.

She was born April 15, 1947 at Saigon, Vietnam and in April 1973 she married Robert "Bob" Green in Dodge City.  They lived in Minneola a short while before moving to Bucklin.  She owned an operated a day care from her home and was known for her cooking in which she catered many events throughout the years.

Survivors include: her son, J.T. Green, Lawrence, Kansas; 2 grandchildren, Justice and Kaylee; and a brother and a sister.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Rocky Green and her husband Bob on June 14, 2022.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 am Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at the Bucklin Worship Center with David Johnson officiating.  Burial will follow in the Bucklin Cemetery.  Visitation with the family present will be from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Monday at Minnis Mortuary, Bucklin.  The casket will remain closed.
