MINNEOLA – Wandalee Mary Ratzlaff, 88, died Saturday, February 13, 2016 at the Minneola long term care facility.
She was born February 6, 1928 at Kingsdown, Kansas, the daughter of Scott and Bessie (Karns) Jay. A longtime Minneola resident, she was a homemaker. Wandalee enjoyed baking, quilting and sewing. She was also a member of the Eastern Star.
On November 16, 1946 she married Arthur Ratzlaff at Dodge City. He preceded her in death on November 10, 2011.
Survivors include: her 2 sons, Perry Ratzlaff , Wichita and Scott Ratzlaff and wife Angela, Minneola; 3 grandchildren, Shelbie Ratzlaff, Minneola, Shandie Searcy and husband Luke, Liberty, Missouri and Elizabeth Hall Treder and husband Andy, Dodge City; 2 great grandchildren, Tatum and Ainsley.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and 9 brothers and sisters.
Funeral will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at Minnis Mortuary with Pastor Dick Robbins officiating. Burial will follow in the Appleton Township Cemetery. There will be no public viewing cremation has taken place.
The family suggests memorials to WEPAC in care of Minnis Mortuary, P.O. Box 459, Minneola, Kansas 67865.
