MULLINVILLE - Wilma Liggett, 84, died Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at her home in Mullinville.

She was born October 22, 1934 at Kinsley, the daughter of Clarence and Ethel (Thomason) Craft.  She was a graduate of Kinsley High School.  On April 16, 1955 she married Don Liggett at Bucklin and at which time she moved to Mullinville.  She was a homemaker and worked as a cook at the cafe in Mullinville.  She loved cooking, especially pies, which she made for many people in the community of Mullinville.

She was a member of the Mullinville United Methodist Church.

Survivors include: her husband of 63 years, Don, Mullinville; her son, Derry Liggett, Mullinville; her daughter, Kendra Breeden and husband Don, Dodge City; a sister, Connie Burkhart, Newton, Kansas; 3 grandchildren, Angela Myers and husband Garrett, Ponca City, Oklahoma, Dena Liggett, Hays and Blaine Liggett, Mullinville.

She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant son, Marty Liggett.

Graveside services will be 1:00 pm Saturday, November 24, 2018 at Hillcrest Cemetery, Mullinville, with Pastor Russell Scott officiating.  There will be no public viewing, cremation has taken place.
